🚲 FREE Bike Marking & Security Advice Events – April 2026

Ellesmere Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be holding a series of bike‑marking and security‑advice events throughout April 2026. These sessions are designed to help you reduce the risk of your bike being stolen and to improve the chances of recovery if it ever is.

BikeRegister is the UK’s National Cycle Database, with over 1.3 million bikes registered. It is:

The only police‑approved cycle database in the UK

Used by every police force nationwide

Endorsed by organisations including British Transport Police and the Metropolitan Police

Accessible to police 24/7 via website and app to check recovered bikes

BikeRegister also offers useful tools:

BikeChecker – search a frame number or BikeRegister ID to see if a bike is listed as stolen

Check Your Area – view reported theft levels by postcode

Stolen Bikes Page – browse bikes marked as stolen and contact owners if you spot one for sale

📅 FREE Bike Marking Sessions

Bring your bike along for a FREE marking and registration service on the following dates:

15 April – Ellesmere Pump Track – 17:00–18:00

19 April – Baschurch (near the Village Hall) – 13:00–14:00

If you can’t attend either session but would still like your bike marked, please contact the local Ellesmere SNT team and they will be happy to arrange an alternative time.
